I have decided to let you into the amazing world that is my studio. Well, today it is the amazing kitchen table but the light is nice and it's cleaner than my real studio. I am working on a couple of small pieces and I like to go back and forth between the two.

I am Lizardo, a self taught artist from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I paint for the pure fun and joy that I feel when I paint. I hope those feelings come through to the viewer and to those that own one of my works. I find that painting expresses things I cannot put into words and frees me to be myself. I am a free spirit and bore easily. This leads me to experiment with new texture and techniques on a regular basis. I love to read fashion magazine, try new restaurants, shop, attend art and food festivals, listen to music and hang out downtown.
I use professional grade paints on staple-free canvas. The sides are painted so no hanging is necessary. I choose to sign the back because I like the option of hanging them anyway you please. There is never a right or wrong way to hang my paintings. In fact, I enjoy it when someone hangs it in a direction I had not thought of before.
This year, I have shown work at the 500x Gallery and at Sundance Scooters during The Arts Goggle in Fort Worth. In addition my work is hanging in several homes.
I am open to taking commissions. Contact me for more information.
Thank you for looking! Come again soon!

My studio is just as messy! Work in the studio, work on the dining room table...before long, I'll be taking work to bed with me! LOL
Great blog!
I love your shop!! You do amazing paintings.
Sometimes the kitchen table is the best place! =)
Cool. Love looking at artist's workspaces.
Its always nice to see how someone works. Brilliance comes from the mayhem (at least that's what I tell myself!)
